Learn to throw at mango!

Wheel throwing is a skill that takes practice and patience. At mango in a pot, our goal is to facilitate wheel throwing lessons in a tranquil environment. The small class sizes allow for a more personal, guided experience and the focus on mindfulness allows for a relaxed nervous system, meaning you can learn much faster!

Our teachers are prepared to meet you where you’re at to help you build your skill set and reach your goals. Scroll down for the calendar with upcoming workshops!

Mango’s Teachers

Georgia

  • Georgia is an architect from Greece, whose interest in material culture has translated into her working with clay as a medium of connection between ephemerality and an object’s everyday function. Her ceramic practice is grounded by a study of forms and simplicity of textures.

From her classes, you can expect to feel guided towards a state of mindful creation while focusing in on technique for a polished final result.

  • Georgia teaches small wheel classes that allow for personalized guidance. Check the schedule below to see when her next lesson is!

Dasha

  • Dasha brings a bright and relaxed energy to everything she does, including her ceramics practice. Learning the wheel has been a passion project for her, and she now finds peace while creating.

Dasha is ready to guide others to finding comfort with the wheel, and leads with a very optimistic attitude. You can expect to feel guided and taken care of during your session with Dasha.

  • Dasha is teaching small classes, to make for a very personalized experience. Expect to have a solid amount of 1-on-1 time blended with some moments of self exploration.
